Report of man who tried to lure child to car unfounded: OPP

Moms and dads in Milverton can breathe easy again: the OPP say a call about a man trying to lure a child into a car was a false alarm.
That call came in last Saturday.
Police say they checked it out, but the allegations have been deemed to be unfounded, and they have no concerns for public safety.
However, investigators remind everyone to always be alert and vigilant when approached by someone you don’t know.
And they want all parents and caregivers to have a talk with their kids about ‘stranger safety.’
