Overnight construction at King/Eagle should complete watermain work

Another round of overnight construction at King and Eagle in Cambridge is set to begin at 9:00 tonight, and the Region expects to cross a milestone in the project.
Senior Project Manager, Design and Construction, Wayne Cheater, tells 570 NEWS crews will be completing the watermain connection at the intersection.
But he says there’s a lot more work to do.
After months of construction on King Street from Eagle to Fountain Streets, residents in the area tell 570NEWS they accept the work needs to be done, but it’s frustrating.
The overnight shut down of King and Eagle is set to end by 6:00 a.m. Monday.
