20-year-old arrested after armed robbery at Hasty Market in Kitchener

A 20-year-old has been arrested in connection with last week’s armed robbery at a Hasty Market in Kitchener.
Police say a suspect armed with a large knife robbed the convenience store on Westwood Drive on June 2nd, and made off with cash and cigarettes.
The clerk working at the time was also sprayed in the face with an unknown substance, but was luckily uninjured.
On Monday, Regional Police say they arrested a 20-year-old man in connection with the robbery.
He faces robbery, assault, and weapons charges.
