Rainfall warning ended for Waterloo Region

Environment Canada has ended a rainfall warning for Waterloo Region and Wellington County.

A low pressure system from the American Midwest was expected to track just south of the Great Lakes on Thursday.

We were expecting rainfall amounts between 40 to 50 mm by Thursday evening.

With colder air moving in late Thursday, rain changed to a slushy snow and is expected to continue into Friday morning.
