Burning love: Firefighter from Waterloo wins Bachelorette Canada

A firefighter from Waterloo received the final rose on Bachelorette Canada on Tuesday night.

Kevin Wendt then got down on one knee and proposed to Jasmine Lorimer, a scene set on a beach in Cuba.

Wendt beat out some 20 other bachelors on the show.

The 32-year-old is a firefighter in Hamilton. He also spent time in the navy.
