Police welcome ‘Grim’ and ‘Tracker’

After weeks of waiting, we now know the names for Waterloo Region Police’s latest “furry” recruits.
The black German Shepard has been named Grim, and the brown dog will go by Tracker!
Elementary and Secondary students in our region were asked to get the ball rolling with names earlier this fall and came up with 60 suggestions.
The top three names were then released for the rest of us to vote. In total, more than 1,800 votes were cast.
