Cambridge residents will have to wait before getting their eyes on that list of potential sites of where the multiplex sports facility will finally go up.
That list of potential sites won’t be released until at least early November.
And we’re learning the actual site selection could drag right into 2017.
Task Force chair Chris Smith told 570 News Thursday that he thought the list would be ready earlier.
The Record reports the group says it needs more time to go over all the data collected the last few months.
Many residents weighed in, against plans set for the original site – at the Conestoga College property site by the 401 at Fountain.
Residents have packed council chambers and the issue has even brought out protesters. Mayor Doug Craig has even hired security for some of the meetings.
The estimated price tag of the proposed multiplex is $78-million.
