Kitchener Market popular on Saturdays

A new study from the City of Kitchener reveals that the Kitchener Market is a hit.
The report says an average of close to 11,000 people visit the market each Saturday.
In the last four years, the number of Saturday visitors has increased 15%, while cooking classes, rentals and events have grown by 205%.
The report also indicates the LRT could help bring thousands more to the market without worrying about parking or driving downtown.
At this point, the city plans to continue to look into possible market expansion.
