Rangers rolling with big win over Wolves

Kitchener’s first road trip of the season was a huge success.
The Rangers rolled to a 9-3 win over the Wolves in Sudbury on Sunday afternoon, with special teams firing on all cylinders. Kitchener scored three shorthanded goals and two more on the power play.
Rangers Head Coach Jay McKee says the team has been working hard on its penalty kill. “One of the good things about our PK this year, we have a lot of guys involved, so it keeps everyone in the game, legs going with how aggressive it is,”
Connor Bunnaman and Darby Llewellyn each had a pair of goals and an assist on the afternoon.
“We work hard on this team, we have a lot of heart too, so having three like that (shorthanded) is big, brings the guys together too.” said Bunnaman.
Dawson Carty made 27 saves to improve to 3 and 0 on the season. Defenceman Giovanni Vallati also scored his first OHL goal on Sunday.
The Rangers, the only undefeated team left in the league, get a visit from Sarnia on Friday. 570 News will have the pre-game show at 7pm.
