Some LRT work wraps up in KW

Motorists can breathe a sigh of relief as some LRT work is expected to wrap up on Friday evening.

In Kitchener, the King and Allen intersection and Charles Street from Victoria to Benton will reopen sometime in the evening.

In Waterloo, the Northfield off-ramps from Highway 85 and the southbound on-ramp will also be back up and running.

Lauren McGirr with GrandLinq says it’ll happen late tomorrow night, but there may still be some short-term rolling lane closures in effect to complete some finishing touches.
