Firefighters out looking to fill their boots

Help fill a boot with change.
That’s the goal of today’s firefighter boot drive.
Today, Ktichener Fire Fighters will be out in full force, trying to raise money for Muscular Dystrophy Canada.
Joel Bromley with Kitchener Fire says they’ve been at it for a while.
“The City of Kitchener Fire Department has been involved for the past 46 years, and we’ve raised over $335,000,” says Bromley. “In the last eleven years we’ve been holding the boot drive in its present form, we’ve raised over $70,000”
Firefighters will be hand-and-boot asking for your change today at Sunrise Centre on Ottawa and Highland Hills Mall.
