59-year-old Guelph man faces sexual assault charges after incident at park

A Guelph man faces multiple sexual assault charges after an incident at Peter Misersky Park.

Police were called to the area Monday evening after reports of a suspicious man with a younger child.

They say the man and child are known to each other and they believe this was a targeted incident.

The 59-year-old faces charges including sexual assault, sexual interference and invitation to sexual touching.

He’s expected to appear in court tomorrow.
