Guelph man faces weapon charges after incident at Transit Hub

A 29-year-old man is facing weapon charges after an incident in Guelph.

Police say it happened just after 2 a.m. on Saturday morning at the Transit Hub on Carden Street. Several males were seen fighting in the area, and one of them appeared to be wielding a handgun.

The Guelph Police Tactics and Rescue Team responded and seized a pellet gun from one of the men.

Joseph O’Kane of Guelph faces multiple charges including assault with a weapon and pointing a firearm.
