KW Humane Society searches for missing boa constrictor

Members of the KW Humane Society are set-up in Kitchener looking into reports of a missing boa constrictor in the city.
Director of Operations at the Kitchener-Waterloo Humane Society Kathy Innocente says they received a call from a neighbour about a 6 foot boa on the loose in the area of Courtland and Mill.
“We have animal control officers at the office, we have already been on site a couple of times just to have a look around. At this time we haven’t seen anything (…) we do count on the public to advise us of any sightings so that we can come out immediately.”
Innocente says they are still searching the area, but they haven’t seen anything unusual.

“If they do see the boa we ask that no one approach the snake, definitely call the Humane Society.”
