Adam Mascherin collected three points as the Rangers doubled the Guelph Storm 4-2 at The Aud on Tuesday night.
Mascherin had a pair of goals, now has 32 on the season, and got an assist on Brandon Robinson’s game winning goal.
“We played a lot lately (Guelph), in the last month or so. We kind of realized we’ve got to grind them out here and finish off these next two games in the stretch and we definitely did that in the second and third.” said Mascherin.
The other Kitchener goal was scored by Darby Llewellyn, his 18th of the season.
Dawson Carty made 22 saves for the win, his eleventh of 2015-16.
The Rangers have won six of seven meetings vs. the Storm this season. The final meeting takes place Friday night in Guelph. 570 News will have the pre-game show at 7pm.
