Man stabbed, another arrested in Guelph

A stabbing in Guelph has left one man injured and another in custody.

Guelph Police are investigating the incident that happened on Carden Street after 1pm Thursday when two men were involved in an altercation resulting in one of them being stabbed.

The victim needed several stitches to close the wound and police later located the other man and arrested him.

A 33 year old Guelph man has been charged with weapons dangerous, assault with a weapon and assault causing bodily harm.

He is being held in custody pending a bail hearing.
