SIU investigating death of Kitchener man

The Special Investigation Unit is looking the death of a 37-year-man in Kitchener.
At around 5:30 p.m. on Saturday Waterloo Regional Police were called to a home near Lancaster Street West and Bridgeport Road.
At the residence police found a man in medical distress. The man was transported to Grand River Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Two investigators and one forensic investigator have been assigned to investigate this incident.

The SIU is an arm’s length agency that investigates reports involving police where there has been death, serious injury or allegations of sexual assault.
