LRT work to close King/Union for six weeks, starts Monday

More LRT work is on the way in Waterloo.

Starting Monday, the intersection of King and Union will be fully closed for six weeks to allow for track work to begin and work on the Grand River Hospital stop.

GrandLinq says Grand River Hospital will be open and accessible using Park Street.

Crews will also complete the installation of curbs, base asphalt and sidewalks on King, from Union to Wellington.

GRH has posted detours on their website along with a detailed map.
