The Record reports all 12 doors had to be replaced because they did not withstand high winds.

On Wednesday, Regional Council approved spending about $340,000 for six new doors, after spending the rest of the $600,000 over the past few years to replace the other six.

Regional Councillor Tom Galloway tells the paper the region is in litigation with the architect. He says he expects the region will be compensated for the replacement doors.
