A mainstay hotel in St. Jacobs is closing its doors

DH Food and Lodge on King in the heart of St. Jacobs, is closing.

First opening in 1852 as The Farmer’s Inn, and then the Dominion Hotel in 1871, it will close its doors on December 23rd.

All 30 of it’s employees will reportedly be able to stay with Stone Crock Inc.
