Rangers extend winning streak to five games

Ryan MacInnis had two goals plus an assist as the Rangers doubled the Sting 6-3 in Sarnia on Thursday night.
The victory puts Kitchener’s winning streak at five games. In ten games, the Rangers have seven wins and three overtime losses. They only trail the first place Erie Otters by one point.
The other Kitchener goals came from Connor Bunnaman, Brandon Robinson, Darby Llewellyn and Dmitrii Sergeev.
Luke Opilka made 24 saves for his fifth win of the season.
“…I thought it was a good effort, that’s a good hockey team over there (Sarnia), so that’s a good one for us.” Rangers head coach Mike Van Ryn told 570 News after the game.
Waterloo’s Chase Campbell had one of the Sting’s three goals.
