Ontario gets first snowfall

It’s beginning to look a lot like winter around the province!

Environment Canada issued snow squall warnings for much of southwestern Ontario earlier this weekend. Some areas around London saw up to 15 centimetres of snow last night alone.

Although we didn’t get the worst of it here in Waterloo Region, many residents did wake up to a taste of winter this morning.

Temperatures are expected to remain in single digits in the region throughout the day. Snow squall warnings will continue in some parts of Ontario, with the most intense activity happening west of Barrie.
