The Record reports 73-year-old John Gaudet was waiting for a bus on Highland Road at Heiman Street on Thursday afternoon when the Canada Post box was sent flying after a collision involving three cars.

His sister-in-law Viola Gaudet tells the paper the irony of him being killed by a mailbox is unbelievable.
