Quiet Sunday on campaign trail

It’s shaping up to be a relatively quiet Sunday on the campaign trail with only one major party leader on the hustings.

Prime Minister Harper will spend the day looking for votes in eastern Ontario.

The only leader campaigning yesterday was the NDP’s Tom Mulcair, who attended a corn roast in St. Jerome, Quebec.

Mulcair pledged to run a positive, upbeat campaign like his predecessor, Jack Layton, did in the last election in 2011.
