Commercial vehicles safety blitz leads to 76 charges

Close to two dozen commercial vehicles have been pulled off the road following a safety blitz in Kitchener.

Regional Police, along with several other agencies, including the Ministry of Transportation, set up shop at the Kitchener Memorial Auditorium Thursday.

All told, they inspected 79 vehicles ad of those, 23 were taken out of service, resulting in 76 charges being laid.
