CSC still investigating attempted escape at Grand Valley Institute for Women

An official with Corrections Service Canada tells 570 News they are still reviewing the attempted escape at the Grand Valley Institute for Women in Kitchener earlier this week.

The prison was locked down after the escape as part of procedure.

The lock down was lifted after a couple of hours after a full prison count was conducted.

No one was hurt during the incident.
