Police officers assaulted in arrest

Two Regional Police officers were taken to hospital for treatment of minor injuries after responding to a report of an altercation in Kitchener.

It happened around 10:30 last night on Holborn Court.

Police say an 18-year-old man is charged with assault with intent to resist arrest.

He also faces a trespassing charge.
