Second tornado this year hits Ontario

Environment Canada confirmed today that an F-0 tornado touched down southeast of Goderich three weeks ago.
That is the second tornado to hit Ontario so far this year.
Environment Canada reports that the tornado touched down on June 22nd in Holmesville, which is about 14 KM southeast of Goderich.
Officials say this was a minor tornado and has been rated as an F-0 with peak winds between 90 and 130 KM per hour. It did cause some minor damage to buildings, vehicles and the landscape.
Ontario normally has up to 12 tornadoes each year between late April and early October.
