Paving work to be done at night to avoid conflict with LRT construction

Some relief on the roads during the craziness of LRT construction.

The Region of Waterloo will be asking paving contractors to do roadwork at night in an effort to avoid conflict with light rail transit construction.

Councillor Tom Galloway, who chairs the committee overseeing light rail, tells The Record it’s a compromise to try and ease already blocked-up streets due to light rail work and regular summer construction.
