Tacofest raises almost $30,000 for local charities

Who knew you could raise this kind of money selling tacos and beer.
The third annual Waterloo Region Tacofest held Friday at THEMUSEUM in Downtown Kitchener brought in more than $29,000.
The money goes to Community Support Connections – Meals on Wheels and More.
The event saw over 500 people sample tacos made by 11 local restaurants and craft beer brewed by a dozen Ontario breweries.
