Viol reaches half-way point in Tour Divide

Peter Viol is at the half way point of his Tour Divide to raise money for Grand River Hospital’s Annette fund which takes care of the travel expenses of cancer patients.
The 4400 kilometre trek takes the Waterloo Regional police Sergeant through two Canadian provinces and 4 American states.
Sergeant Viol says the scenery has been beautiful but the terrain involves some challenging mountains.
He’s one of a group of riders who have no support vehicles and must be self-sufficient.
