Two dead after shooting on Brock Street in Kitchener

Two people are dead following a shooting incident in Kitchener.
Waterloo Regional Police say a man and a woman were killed in the shooting on Brock Street. That’s between Queen Street and West Avenue.
They have identified the two as 40-year-old Lorrie Lynn Baechler and 44-year-old Robert Murphy, both from Kitchener.
Police responded to a report of gunshots in that area around 10am Sunday and remained on the scene for several hours.
They say the man and woman were known to each other and there is no risk to the public.
A post mortem is expected today to determine the cause of death.
