WRDSB secondary teachers will not strike Monday

It appears Waterloo Region District School Board Secondary School teachers will not strike on Monday.

Monday is the earliest secondary teachers are able to strike.

The school board legally has to give five days notice to parents, they tweeted today that they had no updates to share.

In a letter sent home to both high school and elementary school students the board said “we want to make sure families have as much notice as possible.”

The earliest elementary teachers are able to strike is May 10th, which means they would give notice on Tuesday.
