Rapid growth in store for local company that makes Drones

Some regulation updates in the United States marks the beginning of changes in the unmanned vehicle industry, aka Drones.
This is good news for the Waterloo company Aeryon Labs, who manufactures Drones.
CEO Dave Kroetsch says they are working on a few state side contacts and those changes enable them to take small trials and move them to larger use.
“There are a handful of companies that have been trialling our products.”
Aeryon has been successful at home during their eight year history. Kroetsch says Canada is one of the leaders in commercial operation of Drones.
For example, the OPP have used Aeryon Drones for collision reconstruction and on average have been able reduce the time it takes to map a crash on the 401 from an hour and a half to just fifteen minutes.
