As the government pushes for an extension of its military mission against I-SIL, opposition leaders are reacting to the news.
Cambridge North Dumfries Conservative MP Gary Goodyear the opposition claims about lack of details are false
“I think the mission has been made very clear as to what we need to do” says Goodyear. “The parameters are well defined.”‘
Guelph Liberal MP Frank Valeriote says the Prime Minister doesn’t seem to be concerned about our troops or even have an exit strategy
“This war is about the Prime Minister, about the war in the Middle East that he’s always wanted” says Valeriote.
Goodyear says the Liberals and NDP want to do nothing while Valeriote says there are numerous logistical and strategic operations that Canada can be involved with that don’t include engaging our troops.
