High amounts of underground frost has Guelph on high alert.
With the weather quickly warming up the city is expecting more water main breaks over the next few weeks.
Crews are expected to install 10 more temporary water lines in Guelph on top of the 235 already in place.
The city is saying 41 properties are still without running water.
They remind those using temporary water services to use bottled water for drinking or cooking.
And a temporary water service can be used for cleaning, flushing toilets and other needs.
