Cambridge fire training exercise on Riverbank Drive

A bit of an anxious moment for residents in the Chicopee area Wednesday afternoon.
Several callers and 570 Twitter followers expressed their concern when seeing smoke and large flames.
The house fire was at 790 Riverbank Drive – Cambridge fire confirming it was a training exercise and there was never any concern to the public.
Smoke could be seen from downtown Kitchener while the live fire training was underway.
Officials say everything was normal and under control.
