12-1- The #TechHour – Techtoberfest
Communitech hosts a two day event dedicated to startups and lined with a bit of Oktoberfest charm (sausages, beer, sauerkraut). October 16th and 17th at Communitech . Keynotes, workshops, mingling and one-on-one meetings with North American investors, this year’s program will focus on getting your start-up venture capital-ready. It is a sold out event that will bring startups and investors to the Hub.

12:00-12:15- Roseanne Wincek, associate on the Technology Team at Canaan Partners and an Investor Panelist for Techtoberfest. Roseanne Wincek joined Canaan Partners’ Menlo Park office in 2012 and is an Associate on the Technology Team. She loves the human element of technology – the way in which it can immediately and tangibly impact lives. She’s been a product manager on both the consumer and enterprise sides for companies like NextBio and Wiser You. She was also an associate with McKinsey & Company in New York but couldn’t bear being away from startups and the energy of the Valley.
