Rangers make goalie switch

The Kitchener Rangers have made a change in their crease through a pair of trades.

On Tuesday morning, Kitchener picked up Dawson Carty in a trade with the Mississauga Steelheads. The Steelheads get Oshawa’s 8th round pick in next year’s draft.

Carty has played just 12 games in the OHL.

Then later in the day, Jordan DeKort was shipped to the Barrie Colts. The Rangers get Barrie’s 10th round selection in the 2017 draft.

DeKort went 9-13 and 3 in 34 games with the Rangers after being acquired in a deal with Windsor last season.
