Kitchener’s inside workers reach tentative deal

A strike involving the City of Kitchener’s inside workers may have been averted.

The city and CUPE local 791 have reached a tentative agreement.

Over 300 workers could have walked off the job as early as this Thursday morning.

Workers have a ratification vote tomorrow evening at the Aud.

The city is expected to vote on the deal on September 15th.
