Arrests follow disturbance in Kitchener

Waterloo Regional Police continue to investigate following a disturbance at a Kitchener hotel.One male and two females are now custody.
WRPS Inspector Shaena Morris spoke to 570 News about the incident.
“Shortly after 7 am this morning, we did received a call, possibly involving a firearm, at the Howard Johnson Hotel on Weber Street. Officers surrounded the building and searched several hotel rooms within the building.”
Morris says the drug branch is now taking over the investigation.
Police originally received information that a possible abduction had taken place, although have since determined that did not happen.
