Couple faces charges after kidnapping Amish sisters

Disturbing, new information about what happened to two young Amish sisters found a day after they disappeared from their family’s farm in upstate New York this past week.
Following the arrest of a couple charged with kidnapping, a prosecutor has revealed the girls were sexually abused after the abduction.
Earlier yesterday, St. Lawrence County Sheriff Kevin Wells said the couple was prowling for easy targets and may have planned to abduct other children.
“Their motive was to take these girls from their home and to victimize these girls. There was a lot of thought process that went into this.”
The sisters were abducted Wednesday from the farm stand in front of the family’s home near the Canadian border.
