Canadian tennis aces Milos Raonic and Eugenie Bouchard are set to light up Toronto and Montreal as the 2014 Rogers Cup presented by National Bank rolls into town next week. Beginning Monday, Aug. 4 through to Friday, Aug. 8, Sportsnet is giving fans home-court advantage with exclusive Canadian coverage of the first three rounds and quarter-finals of the Rogers Cup on Sportsnet, sportsnet.ca, Sportsnet 590 The FAN,  Sportsnet 960 The FAN, Sportsnet NOW , Rogers Anyplace TV and Rogers Cup Mobile. Raonic and Bouchard – both ranked No. 7 in the world – take to the court in front of a home crowd following their historic run at Wimbledon. On the men’s side, Raonic is part of a draw in Toronto that features 18 of the top 20 players in the world, including world No. 1 and three-time winner Novak Djokovic, defending champion Rafael Nadal, 17-time Grand Slam champion Roger Federer and two-time Rogers Cup winner Andy Murray. The women’s draw in Montreal will feature world No. 1 and three-time winner Serena Williams, and past Rogers Cup winners Petra Kvitova (No. 4), Ana Ivanovic (No. 11) and Caroline Wozniacki (No. 13).

Sharknado 2 aired on Wednesday night and twitter exploded with responses. Sharknadoes might not be good for humankind, but they’re definitely good for ratings: 3.9 million viewers tuned in to Syfy Wednesday night to watch the premiere of Sharknado 2.The first Sharknado aired in July 2013 and brought in 1.4 million viewers for its premiere, with 570,000 of those watching belonging in the coveted 18-49 age bracket. For Sharknado 2?s premiere, 1.8 million of the 3.9 millions viewers were in the 18-49 demo.
Because of these stellar ratings, Sharknado 2 is now Syfy’s most watched original movie ever. The flick will re-air on Syfy Saturday, August 2 at 7 p.m. ET and Sunday, August 3 at 9 p.m. ET.
Twitter exploded with responses even from celebrities including Wil Wheaton , Luke Bryan, and Simon Pegg.
