Human remains found on Grand River identified

Police have identified the human remains discovered last Friday night on the Grand River in Cambridge as that of Tasha Marie Smith.
The remains were found around 8 p.m. along the Galt waterfront in the Water Street South and Cedar Street area by a fisherman in the Grand River.
The 28-year-old was last seen at her Cambridge home in December of 2010 and police say at this point, there is no evidence of foul play.
