Local blood services are urging the public to donate this weekend.
Officials with the K-W donor clinic say they’re in need and expect more blood to be used this weekend, due to the possibility of an increase in accidents.
The clinic needs to gather 700 more units of blood over the next two weeks to meet the needs of the local population alone.
To donate, you can walk into their clinic at 94 Bridgeport Road or call ahead to book an appointment.
