Mother duck stops traffic

A mother’s love goes a long way.
A mother duck had traffic stopped Saturday afternoon near Royal Road and Woodlawn Road in Guelph by refusing to leave the middle of the road.
The duck wouldn’t budge because her babies had fallen into the sewer grate.
Guelph Public Works and Guelph Police were called in and rescued the ducklings.
The family was happily sent on their way and traffic was back up to speed.
