Three young men are in hospital, one with spinal injuries, following a crash in Cambridge.

Regional Police say the three, all 20-years-old, were in a vehicle that went out of control on West River Road last night, struck a hydro pole and then flipped onto its side.

Police say another motorist was briefly trapped in his vehicle when he drove into downed power lines.

He was not hurt.

Police are asking anyone who saw the crash to contact them.
