10:00- Who won the debate?
The debate is over and it’s back to the campaign trail for the three main party leaders as they try to drum up votes for the June 12th election. Liberal corruption and the Conservatives’ plan to cut public sector jobs dominated last night’s leader’s debate Tuesday. Wynne was on the defensive over the gas plants scandal while Hudak promised to step down if he becomes premier and doesn’t follow through on his platform.

A new report from the Ontario Health Coalition released yesterday, compared the 3 major party’s platforms on health care. The OHC has issued a report,From Mega-Mergers to Reduced Parking Fees: A Comparison of the Ontario Provincial Parties’ Health Care Platforms comparing the health care platforms of the three major parties and warns, in particular about a plan by the PC Party that would see all of Ontario’s 146 public hospital corporations covering 224 hospital sites amalgamated into 30 – 40 “hubs” with appointed (unelected) Boards of Directors.
