WCDSB will vote on $246.6M budget

The Waterloo Catholic District School Board budget was presented to trustees Monday night with a vote expected on June 23.
The proposed budget for the 2014-2015 school year is $246.6 million.
Total Operating costs account for $229.2 million and $17.4 million for Total Capital costs.
The Board says they will continue to review operational efficiencies during the coming fiscal year to address declining enrolment.
Rising utility costs and the government’s labour policies are also noted as challenges to balance the books.
