Prices rise for beef, pork, and hot dogs

It’s going to be another great night to fire up the grill, but be prepared for sticker shock if you are picking up some steaks or ribs.

The price of beef has risen 12% and pork prices are up 16% in the past year.

Even hot dogs will cost you 14% more.

Blame a piglet killing virus and the fact fewer cattle are being sent to slaughter as herds recover from years of culling.
